Randy Towery
My name is Randy Towery and I am 43 years old. I live in Tupelo, MS with my wife Ginger and our three wonderful children Averi, Ryleigh and Braiden. We all have a passion for the outdoors.
My father and both my grandfathers took me fishing as a child and to say I’ve been “hooked” ever since is an understatement. My friend Brian introduced me to bass fishing and tournament fishing when I was 15 years old. I enjoy the competition it brings but at the same time it is also a stress reliever. There is nothing that can quite describe the feeling of being out on the lake with your line in the water when that fish you’ve been waiting on all day strikes. I’ve been blessed that God has given me the privilege and opportunity to be able do so.
I’ve been a member of serval area bass clubs and I have been with Lee County Bass Club for about 14 years now. I enjoy the competition as well as learning new styles and techniques. I’ve won and placed in several tournaments over the years and also won a couple angler of the year titles. I fish club tournaments and several area benefits including Jared Mann Memorial Bass Tournament, Bass Fest, St. Jude Bass Classic, Pickwick Lake Catch-A-Dream Bass Classic and Loves LeBonheur Bass Classic just to name a few. I have also organized and helped with a few benefits as well.
I’ve been a boat captain for a few high school events. I know these kids are the future of bass fishing and I feel it is our responsibility to teach them the respect and courtesy shown to others on the water.
I’ve been using Flatlands Custom Tackle baits for years and I love them. A few of my favorites are jigs, shimmer swimmers, skooly rigs, shake heads and spinner baits. I feel so honored to be given the opportunity to represent Joey and his company.
