Tim Porter

My name is Tim Porter. I currently reside in Martinsville and Galax, Virginia.  I was just a toddler when I began fishing.  My passion for bass fishing started in my teens and continues to grow.  I have tournament fished off and on since the late 1980's.  I primarily fish in local tournaments.  One on "flat" water (lakes) of Virginia and North Carolina.  The other is kayak and tournament fishing on the New River in Virginia.  I started experimenting with Flatlands Tackle in early 2021 on the New River.  I quickly expanded to usage on lake and pond fishing. Flatlands Tackle jigs have become a staple in my arsenal. In a time where customer service seems to have fallen away, Joey has been great to work with.
